Farrell & Co — Hand Carved Guitar Picks

I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years, and this is where my passion for music and carving come together.

Each Farrell & Co guitar pick is hand carved by me beside the Atlantic in Doonbeg, Co. Clare. I wanted to create a pick that felt natural in my hand, gave me the grip and control I look for when playing, and allowed me to pick quickly and comfortably.

The design has a thicker grip for a secure hold, with a small picking edge for fast, precise playing. The natural wood feels good between your fingers, and the grip improves as your hands warm up during a gig.

Every pick is carved, shaped and tested by me on my own guitar. No 2 are exactly alike and I play each one to assess its feel, control and playing quality before signing it off as finished. These are not generic mass produced picks , they are not just something I make , they are something I use.

At approximately 1.5 cm wide and 3 cm tall, each pick is a small, considered piece of craftsmanship, made for guitarists who appreciate the feel of a genuinely hand finished instrument accessory.
